Michael & Mary Kate’s Nature-Centric Photography Session in Maryland’s Great Outdoors
I met Michael a few years ago when he was a groomsman at Briana & Trevor’s amazing wedding that I photographed. He was so happy with the experience that he and his fiancé chose me to be their wedding photographer, which is such an honor and pretty much the best testimonial I can get. It was great to get to know him better and to meet Mary Kate for the first time. This couple loves the outdoors – backpacking, hiking, biking, and camping – so they wanted to shoot at a location that reflected their love of nature, and springtime at Greenbrier State Park was the perfect fit. The park has such a nice variety of settings and backdrops, from the beach to forests and rocky trails, and we even caught some cherry blossoms in bloom. The sunlight filtering through the trees gave everything a really pretty soft glow and dreamy pastel colors that look gorgeous in these photos. To top off this beautiful day, we got to see a bald eagle diving into the lake to catch a fish! Enjoy these highlights from their session, and stay tuned for their wedding photos at Union Mills!
