The day we scheduled this shoot for was COLD but it was worth it because of how special this shoot was. This cozy winter family session is a bit late getting to the blog. Better Late than Never!

When we were walking to the location where we would start shooting I found out how special this cold session would be. Not just because it was family memories, which are already so important, but because this was the VERY FIRST family photos, Tanner & Micaela would have with their daughter Grace! Literally, every session I get asked to shoot is important to me, but when I heard the news that I got to photograph their family for the first time I was thrilled! I’m 100% down for family photos anytime but you can only have the first ones once.

Grace had no idea what was going on but she was very patient with our shoot, at least until she got hungry, and then it was break time before wrapping up with this gorgeous shoot! Thanks so much to the Barbs for trusting me with their first family photos; I can’t wait to see their family grow!
